Hubert Raffray – Chief Executive Officer

Hubert Raffray holds a Master’s degree in Automation and Process Engineering from the Institut Supérieur d’Automatisme et Informatique Industrielle (ISAII), France and has acquired broad experience as field engineer with Measurex SA (South Africa). In 2004, he was appointed General Manager of ECS Ltd., a company specialised in the electrical and automation sector for the sugar industry. Thereafter, between 2005 and 2007 he was General Manager at Rey & Lenferna Ltd., a Mauritian-based engineering firm with 500 employees. In 2007, Hubert joined the FORGES TARDIEU Group as Managing Director where he has been holding the position of Chief Executive Officer since 2014.

Jean-Michel Colin – Chief Operating Officer

Jean-Michel Colin is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK). He started his career in the real estate sector in the UK in 1996 and upon returning to Mauritius in 2006, he joined the Audit & Assurance Division of an international accounting firm, BDO & Co. In 2009, he was asked to join the Corporate Finance Division of the firm, being responsible for major transaction advisory services. Jean-Michel joined the FORGES TARDIEU Group in 2012 as Chief Finance Officer and currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer.

Alexandre Gourel de Saint-Pern – Chief Strategy Officer

Alexandre Gourel de Saint Pern holds a degree in Business Management and a post-graduate degree in Marketing & Management. Alexandre started his career in 1996 at Cernol Chemicals Ltd. before joining an American multinational, Ecolab Inc., in 1999, where he last held the position of Export Director for Africa, based in Morocco until 2004. In 2005 he joined the Harel Mallac Group, a diversified Mauritian conglomerate, as Group Head of Business Development and was appointed General Manager of Harel Mallac International Ltd. that same year. In 2007 Alexandre became General Manager of Harel Mallac Outsourcing Ltd., overseeing the BPO and Outsourcing activities of the Group. In 2010 he joined the Corporate Offices of the Dominique Galea Group, namely PCS Ltd., as Director of International Operations, responsible for the Group’s international strategy and business development. Alexandre currently holds the position of Chief Strategy Officer of FORGES TARDIEU Ltd.

Sandrine Rouget – Chief Human Resource Officer

Sandrine Rouget holds a Master degree in Information & Communication Applied to the Corporate World from Sorbonne Nouvelle University and a Post Master’s degree in Human Resources and Communication from CELSA – La Sorbonne University. Sandrine started her career in 2009 as Human Resources Manager for Pre-Mixed Concrete Ltd., DryMixed Products Ltd. and later Lafarge (Mauritius) Cement. In 2012, she was appointed Human Resources Manager of the group MSM Ltd. which consisted in a Printing Factory, a Carton Factory, a Finishing House and an Editing Company. In 2014, she became Human Resources Manager of Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa for nearly 3 years. In October 2016, she joined the FORGES TARDIEU Group as Chief Human Resources Officer.

Jean-Jacques Jullienne – Head of Operations – Oil & Gas

Jean-Jacques Jullienne holds an MBA International Paris from the University of Paris-Dauphine & IAE Paris and a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical College of Durban in South Africa. He started his career in 1992 at the MTMD Sugar Estate as Assistant Garage Manager. He then joined Bell Equipment Ltd where he last held the position of Production & After-Sales Manager. After five successful years, Jean-Jacques moved to Madagascar as Managing Director of the Bell Equipment Pty dealer, Triumph International SARL. In 2005, he joined the Malagasy subsidiary of FORGES TARDIEU Ltd., namely Systec Sarl, still as Managing Director. Upon his return to Mauritius in 2007, he became Deputy Managing Director of FORGES TARDIEU Ltd. Jean-Jacques currently holds the position of Head – Operations – Oil & Gas.

Ghunshyam Parsan – Head of Operations – Sugar

Ghunshyam Parsan is a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (UK & MRU) and of the Institution of Structural Engineers (UK & MRU). He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mauritius as well as a Master’s degree in Steel Construction from the University of Sheffield, UK. Ghunshyam started his career in 1999 as Project Leader with FORGES TARDIEU Ltd., working both in the design office and on site. In 2002, he took employment as Structural Engineer with Caunton Engineering Ltd. in the UK, working as lead engineer for clients such as Rolls Royce, Honda and the Royal Air Force. After a short spell in consultancy as Managing Director of Global Steel Professionals, he returned to FORGES TARDIEU Ltd. in November 2009 as Design & Proposals Manager. Ghunshyam currently holds the position of Head – Operations – Sugar.
